What is the difference between classic, volume, and mega volume eyelash extensions?
The type of lashes you get will determine your look. Classic is the most natural looking, while volume provides the fullest look. We can also implement a hybrid look, which is a combination of classic and volume eyelashes, that can give you a custom design that isn’t too flashy. Mega volume eyelashes use a lighter + thinner lash, and is often what is seen on high value celebrities.
How long does it take to apply eyelash extensions?
A full set of eyelash typically takes 2-3 hours to apply and can be maintained by coming in for a fill every 2-3 weeks. But it can vary, depending on the type of eyelashes you are getting (volume or classic).
Why are your eyelash extension services so expensive?
We manually create all fans for volume and mega volume eyelashes (classic doesn’t use fans), and carefully apply each lash securely to your natural lash. Can you get eyelash extensions cheaper at other places? Yes, but we’ve seen clients come in with their lashes clumped from other places (which can damage your natural eyelashes), and it often times requires you to come in more often because the retention isn’t as good. If you want the best looking eyelashes (using the best products), that protects your natural eyelashes and lasts as long as possible, you will end up saving money over the long-term coming to us.
Are eyelash extensions safe?
Yes. Your eyes are completed closed through the full procedure. The biggest risk is having an allergic reaction, in which case you may need to get eye drops to treat from a doctor.
Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing eyelash extensions?
We do ask you to minimize the chance of wetting the extensions for the first 48 hours of wear. After that 48-hour period, the adhesive used to apply your eyelash extensions is secure enough to allow you to get right back to your routine. However, keeping away from extensive contact with steam such as in saunas/steam rooms or certain facials is recommended since it can begin to loosen the bond.
What happens if I choose to have my eyelash extensions removed?
We do offer a service to have the eyelashes extensions removed. The gel remover is applied on top of the extensions without touching the skin and allowed to sit for 10 minutes. Once the adhesive is dissolved the extensions are gently wiped away with lint free applicators exposing the natural lashes.
